CURED IN PLACE PIPE (CIPP)

WHAT IS CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP)?

CIPP is a trenchless technology that does not require excavation to rehabilitate a pipeline that is either leaking or structurally unsound. The liner is often installed through a manhole or pre-existing access point with little or no digging needed. A resin-saturated felt tube made of polyester, fiberglass cloth, or other materials suitable for installation is inverted or pulled into the damaged pipe.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CIPP?

Little to no digging is involved providing a less disruptive method than traditional dig and replace pipe repair. This cuts down excavations of driveways, yards, sidewalks, roads, etc. significantly. CIPP is the non-invasive pipe repair alternative that avoids the costs associated with restoration after traditional dig and replace methods. Cured-In-Place Pipe allows for repairs to be done in a time efficient manner; in as little as two hours a pipe can be relined.

CIPP services are provided through our sister company Tetrad Eco Lining, Inc. Cured in place lining is offered for mainline (6"-24") and laterals (2"-6"). Cured in place point repairs are also provided as an option for spot repairs (up to 6') that don't require rehab of the entire line.
